The cost of the shipping is determined by the weight and value of the product.

All pieces are shipped fully insured with tracking numbers.

International shipping options are available. Please use our Contact Page and include the item's reference number for an estimate.

Easy Returns & Exchanges

Gems by Design, Inc. proudly stands behind our one-of-a-kind, high quality stones and cuts. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you may return your item based on our Return and Exchange Policy.

  • If you are wishing to return your item, you must notify Gems by Design, Ltd. via e-mail within 3 business days from receipt of item. After 3 days, purchaser may receive store credit equal to the value of the returned item.
  • Returned items must be sent registered mail and insured.
  • Returned items must be in salable condition with all original certificates and accessories.
  • Gems by Design, Inc. will issue refunds within 30 days after the return item is received and assessed. 
  • Returns or exchanges not allowed on customized jewelry/special orders.
  • Charge credits are issued to original purchaser on the account to which the item was charged.

Return Instructions

To return your purchase by mail, Gems by Design, Inc. kindly requests you follow the steps below:

  1. If there is damage to an item upon delivery, call our office immediately at (330) 673-0071 for assistance.
  2. Please read the information on your original packing slip.
  3. Pack the item securely. Use the original package, if possible. Enclose the original or a copy of the packing slip.
  4. If you do not have your original packing slip, please provide us with your name, address, phone number, email address, and order number.
  5. All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.
  6. For your protection, we recommend that you use Registered Mail which provides insurance and tracking services for your return. Ship the return package to the address indicated on the packing slip:

Keep the Return Tracking Number from the package you are returning to ensure that the package is returned.

You can expect a refund within 30 days of our receiving your returned product. Refund will be credited to the same form of payment used in your original purchase.
